Two online certificates in concrete studies, one for ready-mix (wet) and the other for masonry producers (dry) have been developed with a set of foundation courses pertaining to both tracks also available online. Due to the extensive development time associated with this part of the project, the content has not been available to trainees to date. Industry representatives confirm that the online methodology will have appeal to a commercial and residential construction market that is slowly recovering after nearly half a decade of layoffs and downsizing.
