ACC Art + Design

ACC Evening with the Arts 2022

The Art & Design Program within the Olin H. Joynton Fine Arts Center offers three degrees that allow for a variety of creative career paths. The Associate of Arts in Fine Arts degree prepares a student to transfer to a 4-year institution. The Associate of Arts in Graphic Design degree also prepares a student to transfer to a 4-year institution. The Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design degree prepares a student to begin a professional career upon graduation. In addition to preparing for a 4-year institution or entering the workforce, each of the degree programs also offer the opportunity to simply enrich one’s life with a greater appreciation of art & design.

Students work one-on-one with faculty in two-hour class sessions that include lecture, critique, technical demonstrations, and hands-on studio time. At the end of each semester, students experience the process of displaying their work in a grand exhibition called “An Evening With the Arts.” Open to the public, this event has a long history of sharing ACC student work with the community.
