No student should go without food. Take what you need but please don’t abuse it. Hygiene supplies are also available. No proof of need is required.
Get help with the FAFSA & financial aid
We get it. Filling out the FAFSA is frustrating. We can help with that and any questions you may have about financial aid. We also have self-guided online courses on managing tuition, budget, and bills.
Mental health counseling

You are not alone. We have a licensed mental health counselor available Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. by appointment only. In-person appointments are available at our Alpena campus and we offer telemed and telephone appointments. Appointments are confidential and free to ACC students. No health insurance is required. Limited to 4 sessions per semester.

NEMCSA helps low-income individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with a court-ordered eviction. If you are not considered low-income, please contact the State of Emergency Relief website (michigan.gov/mdhhs) prior to contacting NEMCSA.
